On one hand, analytics at half probably would have said:
- they didn’t really stop us, except for fumbles. Fumbles are random. Projection: stop fumbling and we’ll roll
- their yards and points came entirely on turnovers and busted coverages. Stop turning it over, stop busting, and their O will go nowhere

And all that played out.

But … analytics won’t tell you if you are just the kind of team that busts. You’re just the kind of team that fumbles and commits dumb penalties. That’s the open question. I mean, the defense had given up 3 TDs this year and every single one was on a busted coverage
