I get these historical comps are fun, but why are they predictive of what happens Saturday? (m)

It seems like people are suggesting that because Iowa teams from the past composed of completely different players have been rarely successful in Ann Arbor that they are unlikely to win Saturday. I guess your one constant for almost 30 years now is Ferentz, but I don’t see much relevance Saturday to the past matchups.
