And there will be a lag once the Iran conflict or whatever is ended before we see meaningfully lower prices at the pump and in food and transpo and fertilizer and everything else. We really have no idea how badly Iran has degraded pumping and refining capacity in the Gulf. (Setting aside the Houthis, for now.)

This fucking idiot could have just waltzed into the White House on convincing mandate from the electorate, let the natural progresi8n of inflation (down) run its course, closed the border and deported some people,aid down some bullshit about men in women's sports, and been wildly popular. Instead the tariffs, the ICE overreach, and this stupid war has completely fucked him and the res tof the GOP.
