Maybe that perception’s wrong due reporting bias. But if not, it makes me wonder: what drives it?

Are high profile positions disproportionately comprised of personalities that also tend to foment “crazy” in their personal lives? Or is that cohort as “normal” as the general population, but once they attain those high profiles the crazies come out of the woodwork & the drama ensues?
