The Tigers for example were 1 game better than their predicted record in 2024 (predicted 85, won 86) and 1 game under last year (predicted 88, won 87).

Most teams are within 3 games of the Pythag.

Tigers are -11. As they have gone on this winning roll, their Pythag has gotten WORSE because they are winning by such large margins. I have not seen such a variance before. Their predicted record is 68-49.
