Somehow in 1999 the Tragically Hip were still playing small clubs in the US. I saw them at the Cat's Cradle in Chapel Hill and Gord Downie was one of the most mesmerizing performers I've ever seen - just incredibly unique in his artistry.

This performance of Grace, Too at their final show due to his brain cancer is so affecting that I sometimes tear up when I view it.
