He gets more comfortable making mesh point decisions on give or pull, the QB run game evens out blockers, and hitting (or even taking) shots in the intermediate and deep passing game keeps the safeties from stacking the box. As bad as he looked in week 1, we can see improvement in Bryce’s game since then.
The OL, just like every other aspect of the offense, is adjusting to new scheme and new coaches. I can see the offense being legitimately good later in the season. I always saw this as a 2 year project where the staff functionally treats Bryce as a first year starter, just with the benefit of a year of experience in the fire so he at least doesn’t have to adjust to the speed of the game.
