mainly due to athletic notoriety and success. I think Michigan is worse because it is everywhere, ad nauseum. It's also -- I think-- pretty widely known for its arrogance, which is a thing. Throw in some impropriety and the coyotes eat it like red meat. Not a hot take.

It's like Yogi Berra, they're so good and they have such a large, loud fanbase, everybody hates them.
