while i agree with the general M blogosphere vibes that Iowa is not suddenly an awesome offense, one thing i am thinking is our D is not nearly as suffocating in the run game as it looks so far.

i still don’t think Iowa has enough to *expose* it, but it could be a reason our O needs to do a bit more than we usually do against Iowa. And i think this overarching season question is going to be whether our offense comes around in time to protect our defense in one or two of the *big* games
