That they’re having these discussions is a pretty clear indication that they’re planning to escalate rather than allow the dems to win control of the house or senate, whether that means mass voter suppression (i.e., more than usual), attempting to cancel elections, or refusal to seat new Congress.

Maybe martial law in and of itself isn’t exactly a plan, but it’s pretty clear they don’t intend to give up power. Doesn’t mean they’ll succeed of course, but they’re in a much stronger position than they were in 2020, although a weaker position than a year ago. I don’t know what going to happen come November, but a fairly dramatic attempt to overturn the constitutional order would not be surprising at all, imo.
