Which seems kind of weird. We are not close (obviously), but we don’t have any beef. We spoke about a month ago, including about summer plans and if we might be able to get together. Somehow, their impending marriage did not come up.

(She’s been divorced for 12-ish years, and living with this guy for several years, so it’s not weird or anything that they got married. But it seems kind of weird that it wasn’t mentioned.)
