Pain things (mostly minor)

All stretches below are Bob and Brad specials.

1. Neck is getting better (C3, C4, C5). RFA was six weeks ago so maybe that played a role? I started a new stretching routine last week focussed on chin tucks. My guess is revised stretching was the key since I saw no improvement over the previous five weeks.

2. Plantar fasciitis comes and goes. Morning stretches of my calves/achilles seem to help along with massaging my calves and feet with my new vibration thing. Not healed, but very minor.

3. My buttocks made it through four flights with only a little pain on the last one. Iโ€™m stretching my hamstrings daily and doing these waist lifts. B&B said this often happens from underuse of the ass muscles. I stopped lifting since the RFA (starting back tonight). The combo seems to be working after only 10 days. 21 days seems to be the key so Iโ€™ll keep this going for sure.

I think 2&3 are very likely statin intolerance. I started Repatha and plan to stop statins after getting my three month test. Iโ€™m 6 weeks into that and considering stopping now. Iโ€™m less sure statins would cause the neck pain. I think that started from a new office setup with monitors being too low. MRI says arthritic. Not sure what to think, just happy it feels better (maybe 80% gone).

Stretching and strengthening have been wildly successful for me over the years. Iโ€™m amazed honestly. Sometimes it takes trying different things before landing on a stretch that works. Think I will start yoga in retirement.
