I watched it on an airplane but whatever.

Very funny that Saban’s final game was a big ol’ L to Harbaugh, in the best setting imaginable. If you haven’t watched it, they show the final play but kind of downplay the game, certainly in contrast with Bryant’s final game (a Liberty Bowl win over Illinois).

The documentary is very Sylvester Croom forward. The documentary also doesn’t peel the onion of some of Alabama’s soft schedules in those early Bryant title seasons.I shouldn’t expect it to, but still.

In the 70s Alabama played some awesome OOC games; I’ll give them that.
