1. this was the best game of the year by the players. it was a dogshit choke by the coaches.

2. these guys don't know Whitt. he is a stranger to them and to Ann Arbor. this is the worst possible loss for building trust and momentum. this random old guy brought all his buddies from Utah and just choked on us in 2 of his first 4 games.

3. 2028 has a 5-star QB from Cass Tech named Donald Tabron. he was a lock to commit to the old staff. Whitt, Beck, Detmer and co openly dropped him, elected not to recruit him at all. stack a loss like this on top and you wonder so much about the staff. clueless on and off the field.

4. the szn is not "lost" in any literal sense, everyone still has to play the games. I guess this could be like MSU 2015 or 2021. but again, Jim Harbaugh was a Michigan legend for decades, this guy is a stranger.

5. if Raver brings Vanderbilt AD Candice Storey Lee, then I guess Clark Lea is on the table. But as you know I am a Bob Chesney guy. I would be calling him every day the rest of the year.
