To be clear, people overreact to losses, and if post predictions were bets you'd clean up by taking the Optimist side on a night like tonight.

But, also, this is how it is. People are going to bitch and commiserate and, yes, overdo it a bit and maybe get a little emo or whiney. Whether it's a good look or right, it's what's going to happen.

And I guess I find it kind of obnoxious in the attention-seeking way to be the one who makes it a cause to rain on the party. Or blow sunshine, I suppose. As you'd want rain so you could complain about that too.

I dunno. At some point, you see where the group is at and let them blow off steam if you're not there too.
