We're back to 8-4/ 9-3/ occasional 10-2 territory if the schedule falls our way.
I'm just as pissed off as you are about what we've seen so far. Maybe I've just already reached the coping stage.

People are in the bargaining stage. Whitt isn't "him". He's not a silver hair version of "him". He's lost his fastball and is NEVER going to be elite here. He didn't forget how to coach. We will win some games, but the idea that he's gonna take us anywhere as long as he's here is (m)

Yes, all true. And yet I remember that day in December when the Sherrone saga was melting down. We should be better than this, but we were in a really bad spot then. I dunno, man, hard to envision any scenario where this season wasn't a struggle with that context*
