If you’re going to be aggressive and go on fourth down, then be consistent.

I was fine going for it in the first half on fourth and one (didn’t like the play design), but what you’re saying is we need the TD.

If you’re doing that, I don’t like turning around on the goal line on fourth and 3 and kicking a fg. At that point on the field, Iowas offense had done nothing. If you don’t get it, they’re highly likely to play conservative and you can get the 3 right back. Giving them a 3 is a huge win and flips field position.

On the other hand, if your strategy all along was to get points, then fine. You take the 3 all the time. If you did that early, then the field goal is a no brainer to go up 16-7.
