I genuinely don’t know the rule well enough. Two questions

1. I thought a player had to make an effort to get back in bounds quickly. He only tried once he saw the ball was still alive. Kick coverage gets flagged for staying out of bounds, though it is different (hence I don’t know). Kick returners keep running down the field while this guy kinda just piddled around getting back.

2. I think they called it correctly for when a guy is pushed out. Is there a requirement that he can’t be the first one to touch the ball after re-establishing himself?
