JJ missed his entire first season, he is then banged up almost all of last year including a high ankle sprain he probably should have played through, with a horrific offense around him he stinks in his first 10 or so games as essentially a rookie, at age 22.

I mean, nobody is succeeding in that scenario, not even a future HOF QB, not at that age and experience level.

He's 23 entering this season and has about 600 snaps under his belt. I think his story has a long way to go. I don't think he'll be a star, but can he have something like a Goff career by the time he's 30? I wouldn't bet against it.
