The 90s were great. I liked the 80s. So much optimism. The 90s turned out to be quite prosperous but there was a lot of angst too. The early 00s were good. 9/11 was awful but the economy was pretty strong until about 05 ish.
70s were great as a kid, and the young adults were having lots of sex apparently, but the world was kind of a mess: Watergate, two oil shocks, stagflation, leisure suits, etc.
