now is that fair to exclude an entire month? Obviously not. But it's not like they are just starting to play well recently. They have been great except for one terrible, horrible, hideous month. Now that month did happen to coincide with a near historic level of injuries all at once.

And as you point out, they aren't the same team now that they have been all season since Skubal and Mize aren't around any more. But they are probably better than a .500 team going forward. Whether that's .550 or .600 or even better is too be determined.
