Taking talking heads like Carville or Van Jones seriously is like engaging with a Stephen A. Smith opinion. Cable news is about provoking an emotional reaction and you're playing their game if you let them get under your skin. As for Tanden, I just scrolled through her Twitter feed and she was boosting Stevens' post-primary statements that she is supporting AES hard so I don't get the sense that Tanden isn't supporting AES either.
