For the QB run to be truly effective, one is relying on Underwood's decision making. Don't have enough data on him specifically but it seems our QB's have never had a great feel for the read part of the read option and that the "option" decision was predetermined. Not meaning for this to be ultra negative but that is what the devil on my shoulder is saying when I get excited about a diverse running game.
