as soon as this year. The South American nation’s farmers have been on a tear,
with a record $87 billion in farm exports in the first half of this year, a 6% jump
from 2025. The country has become the world’s largest producer of soybeans, beef
and poultry, and recently overtook the U.S. as the top global exporter of cotton.
U.S. ag exports totaled $171 billion in 2025, $2 billion more than Brazil’s.
As recently as 2021, the U.S. exported $56 billion more in farm goods than Brazil…”
