My 19-year old has fully internalized the ethos of being an Arsenal fan.

As I was sweltering at one of my 17-yo's soccer games today (it was BRUTALLY hot), my 19-yo texted at full-time of the Community Shield to say "as much as I want to celebrate this result, I know what happened to other Community Shield winners." My response was in ALL CAPS and it was along the lines of advice that he should enjoy these moments instead of seeing doom around the corner even when things are great.

I blame Arsenal Fan TV.
