Jamal Musiala dropped for his second consecutive game as Bayern finishes its preseason schedule ahead of Saturday's SuperCup against Dortmund. Not much was said after he dropped to the field last week as it was in the high 80s and I just assumed it was dehydration from not being in game shape. But today he dropped after only 4 minutes against Heidenheim. After the game he disclosed that he suffers from absence seizures. These are apparently short seizures lasting typically only 10 to 20 seconds and those suffering the seizure simply seem out of it for a short period of time but are unconscious but it happens so quickly they just seem vacant for a short period of time. Kids can outgrow them, though some percentage do progress to having full Epileptic Grand Mal Seizures. Sure hope he has the doctors that can help him move on and this doesn't slow or wreck his career, as the broken leg courtesy of Donnaruma has certainly impacted his play for a couple of seasons now and it would be great to see him get back to '24 form.
