A little more background on where she's likely heading (m)

I'd love for her to attend UM, but that's a reach. She has incredible artistic talent, but it comes at the expense of her math and science brain, and she lacked drive her freshman year. She's really kicked it into gear lately, and pulled that 3.0 up to a 3.75. Unfortunately, she didn't kill it on her SAT, so that's not going to flip things.

She wants to stay close to home, so we're probably talking MSU, GVSU, or a directional school. We spent most of her early years in Indiana, so she'll probably apply to Purdue and IU (where I got my MBA). Miami (OH), too.

She wants something in medicine (OB/GYN, maybe) or medical-adjacent (PT/OT). She's helped a ton with her younger sister, so I think she's developed a passion for helping kids and adults with special needs.

Her path isn't my path, and that's totally cool. I'm proud of her and excited for where she goes from here.
