Have you read any details of the allegations, beyond the articles published yesterday which mostly just cited the AG's press release? Because to me, as a criminal defense attorney, there are signs that this was not "large scale" nor particularly out of the ordinary on a college campus...

.... buried in a couple of the stories is that they only sold or SHARED with other frat members, or close friends/associates. Also, the charges remained in state court, which suggests the quantities weren't particularly large and the enterprise was not especially profitable. The search of the frat house didn't disclose any evidence of a distribution operation, either (such as scales, packaging, etc). The press release doesn't mention quantities that were being sold or amounts of money involved, which prosecutors almost always add -- typically with cool pics of cash or kilos on a table -- when they've made a big bust.
I could be wrong, but those things stood out to me. Prosecutors are often attention-seeking shitheads, and looking over Dave Sunday's social media, I'd definitely put him in that category. I'm guessing he wants to run for governor, and therefore wants his name in the press as often as possible
