Looks like my 42" 17-year old Vizio finally died

It was my first purchase when I got my first real job post-law school, so Feb 2009. The last several years, we've just hoped they'd break it when they moved us so we'd get them to buy us a new TV, but no such luck. It worked fine and all, but between falling prices and better quality (and bigger sizes for less money), we'd reached the point where we just kind of were ready to move on, but since it worked fine, no particular reason to buy one until it died (we do have a nice Samsung Frame TV, but that's more of an upstairs TV, not a basement/living room TV).
Normally this is where I'd ask for advice on reviving it, but I think it's high time I let it die with dignity. Not that I need to spend a grand or whatever right now, but hey, football season is right around the corner.
With that in mind, uh, advice on TVs? I don't want to be disrespectful and move on too quickly, and I know she's not even cold yet, but life goes on and such.
