At that time, F1 will purportedly return to ICE engines and be done with this partially electric experiment, or electric will have a substantially reduced role. Max had flirted with Mercedes last year and held talks with McLaren this year, but both race teams seem content with their current drivers, especially where Italian teen Kimi is the current and future star at Mercedes. McLaren seems a bit more internally competitive at times with Lando and Oscar not always pleased with track day strategy decisions when they feel they got f*cked over for the other driver. There is a little of that at Mercedes, but Kimi is just kicking George's ass this year in all but one or two races so there is not much George can really complain about except the software glitch that shut down his engine in two races and has also shut down Kimi once.

No details yet, but it will likely be a monster deal and along with stock options on the Red Bull team and possibly both teams. Liam Lawson will drive with Max in Holland this weekend as Hadjar recovers from a broken wrist he suffered while training (purportedly boxing). It is not clear how long Hadjar will be out, but this is a great opportunity for Liam who was fired last season for Red Bull (or demoted is the better description) after only 2 races. Interestingly, Liam has now never driven a full season for any one team. He was initially brought up because Ricarido was hurt and only raced a partial season. Then got the shot at Red Bull but was demoted after two races and finished with Racing Bull. And, now, starts for Racing Bull but gets yanked up to Red Bull because of Hadjar's injury.
