The Dantonio 'run' vs Michigan....

2007-2019

the last year of Carr. Michigan was only 8-4 plus a bowl win, but they did beat MSU. MSU was 7-6.

7 years of RR and Hoke; Michigan was only 47-41 in those 7 seasons. RR/Hoke were 1-6 vs MSU.

Harbaugh was 47-18. Dantonio was only 39-26 in those years. Michigan was only 3-2 vs MSU but 1 loss was a complete fluke (punt play) and another loss occurred when we played JOK in a monsoon. The 3 Michigan wins were blowouts. Harbaugh sent Dantonio into retirement like he did Saban after outscoring MSU 65-17 in 2018 and 2019.

Basically Dantonio had a great overall record only in the years coached by RR and Hoke. His 114-57 is 46-32 against Carr and Harbaugh, and 68-25 in the years RR and Hoke were HC. Head to head, he was 6-1 vs RR/Hoke and 2-4 vs Carr/JH and lucky to not be 1-5 or 0-6.
