I think if Michigan goes 9-3 with a 34-10 win over PSU and PSU finishes 10-2, Michigan gets into the playoffs

Total wins matter more than strength of schedule. If SOS mattered, Texas which beat (at the time) #3 A&M and #6 Oklahoma and lost to #1 OSU & #5 Georgia should have been in....
