No, I think it's the opposite problem, you can move the top completely out of the top latches so it's not stuck there...

You can slide it back into the latches too, but it doesn't click and lock. The roof barely moves, but it's just enough to slide in and out of the latches (without locking). That lack of locking means air can get under it while driving, so it's not even good to drive with the top 99.9% the way up.

- Yes check the trunk near thr wheel wells. It's likely hidden behing the trunk molding. There should be a valve near the motor. Turn that and it will allow you to raise and lower the top by hand. What car is this specifically?* - By VAWolverine August 24, 2026 at 04:15:26 PM
