I suspect Dog Stars had a major edit to get to where it ended up. The plot accelerated so much in the last 30-40 minutes. Imagine they cut a lot out to get to 2 hrs.

Visually great and the high intensity scenes were awesome. Qually, Pierce and Brolin great. J Elori was a little weak for me.

Pretty awesome that the first woman he relaky interacts with in years is a model/dr.
