Need some wifi mesh system advice...

I have an old wifi extender that is just not cutting it. I would like to go with a mesh system, and get advice on how many nodes I have. My house is not large (2700 sf) but the main bedroom is pretty far from the wifi gateway/router (it is probably 60' or so away and on another floor. Thoughts on what I should get, and how many nodes? tia

- Triband is the way to go. 6E vs 7 is trivial for most people. You can go 2 or 3 node, however sometimes 3 is worse than 2 so I would consider running 2 first.* - By WOK August 31, 2026 at 03:18:00 PM
