…one of the things the new regime said right away was that our strength was not where it needed to be to be. If your whole football identity is SMASH, and your whole offensive philosophy is deeply conservative, shortening the game, etc., then it’s critically important to be stronger and more conditioned than your opponents. And it did really never appear that that was the case, when we played decent to good teams.

I mean, add it to the list. But you’d think someone with his football mentality would be super bought in to S&C, maybe even over-emphasizing it.
