Yes they were occasional thieves but it doesn’t seem that pernicious to me.

Music publishing is/was a messy business. And while I disagree that their song-writing compares so unfavorably with Beatles et al. I view song-writing is just one component of a band’s greatness. Zeppelin achieves something aesthetically genius that puts them atop the heap. For my $.
