At least at my employer

They have aggressive cost targets that require cutting people in the next 2-3 years
They have no idea how to get the work done with so many fewer people
They think AI is the magic bullet
They have no idea how to do it
They are basically crowd-sourcing ideas by throwing AI tools at us and asking us to figure it out.
