Yikes. They're tucked for more than just the 5 (really 7) more years until 2033. It's going to take them years to rebuild with the new anti tanking rules.

First and foremost, the bottom 3 get reduced lottery odds (what the NBA calls "relegation"). You can't draft #1 in consecutive years or top 5 in 3 consecutive years.

I don't know exactly what the the rules will for tanking, but it's definitely going to be harder to build from total shit than it was for teams like 2000s Seattle/OKC and San Antonio now.
