I wonder if ND could be added in 28 and 29? In some ways it makes sense. In other ways, no....

When Brandon got played at the end of the series in 2014, ND pulled our 2015 game in Ann Arbor. We got shorted a game. We played them in 2018 and 2019 home and home, but we are still short a game. The next two games are are in 33 and 34, with Michigan having the first game. So while we are short a game, at least we have the first one at home (unlike 18/19).
ND insisted on our games in SB in even years and AA in odd years was because it was the reverse of USC for them. But there are no ND USC games from 26-29. We have an extra conference home game in 2028 so we could go to South Bend and they could come to AA in 2029. And that doesn't mess up 33 and 34. I would have ND add a game in AA in 2035 as a condition of playing them in 28/29 though so we finally get back the game we are owed.
But ND is hosting Texas in 2028 and going to Texas in 2029 (and hosting Alabama) so maybe they wouldn't want to add Michigan.
