When the clock shows 0:01 there is really between 0:01 when it first ticks, to 0:00.00000001 before it ticks to 0:00. Once the clock reaches 0:00 the time is up. There are no more unseen tenths.

In the replay video from the league the clock reads 0:01 when the player touches the ball, so there is somewhere between 0:00-0:01 remaining.

What I still don’t really understand is why the TV clock was different. Is this always true, even though they claim it is synced, or did it become unsynced somehow?
