Drive if a game, they tend to relax and then struggle. Happens to young folks when the first drive confirms what they’ve been feeling for the summer: we’re gonna be awesome. Then they struggle a bit while the other team gains confidence. Great teams don’t do this. Good teams recover quickly and regain focus. This team, not so much.

Maize jerseys set the tone. Arrogant, dismissive of the program tradition, disrespectful of the opponent. Whittingham thought he was going to waltz in here, change some shit, cruise to an easy win. Nutty as it sounds, I actually mean this.
