If the change from 1 to 0 is only when you drop below 1 second left? then the 15:00 mark would also have to hold for a second before starting the countdown.

But that is basically completely opposite of how anyone would think of it because of how basketball very clearly shows the time.

Also, if we had a whole second after the clock hits zero, wouldn’t there be zero controversy about the catch?

Also also, if “0” means under 1 second, then wouldn’t there be no question that we had enough time at the end?
