I believe the NCAA guideline is saying use the correct sync, but the real solution is requiring real-time broadcast of the replay officials in action

As a general principle, replay decisions should be based on footage that the fans can also see. But it should be accurate, of course. I agree that NBC needs to be more forthright about what happened, especially with the NFL season about to start. No fans are more conspiracist than NFL fans.

- The NCAA memo is extremely confusingly worded because the NCAA sucks at most things, but what it is saying is that the stadium clock IS the correct clock.
