1) They say definitively that the new NCAA guidance would have resulted in a WMU win. I am not sure that is the case, as you indicate.
2) They also imply that the B10 did something wrong.
3) Most of the content in this article is directly from the MAC commissioner's press release, which is full of errors and says the rules were misapplied. They were not.

I know many posters say Michigan has nothing to gain by commenting here. I don't agree. Actually the commentary should come from the B10. Michigan should be pushing for this. But Michigan could issue a release and glaze the B10 in the process, if the B10 is not willing to help here. The B10 issued their FU release on Tuesday but doing that without reiterating what they did was correct and that NBC was incorrect is leaving Michigan to twist in the wind here.
