So many forgettable, shitty pitchers lobbing 88 MPH fastballs down the middle, or hanging low-80s slop with minimal break high over the plate. Didn’t need ABS back then either. Other than Clemens, Maddux, Pedro Martinez, Randy Johnson and a couple others, nobody was close to the corners.
