1995 Virginia. We won, but it was not a glowing endorsement of how the Carr era might go, and of whether the horrific trend of 2-straight years of 4-loss seasons would be reversed.

2003 Minnesota. We came back in somewhat lucky fashion, but on the heels of the loss at Iowa, it was definitely not a game that made anyone feel better about the team’s trajectory.

2019 Army. Probably the most like the Western game in terms of the actual details of the game. Even though we won, this presented obvious red flags about the team.
