I don't see any of those games as a bad win. Plus, here's my list. October 1998 for the win!
'95 Virginia was a really good win. That Virginia team was loaded with talent (multiple future NFL starters) and they ended up beating FSU (as well as losing to Texas on a last-second FG). We were starting a RS freshman QB against a good team and came from 17-0 down to win on the last play. There's nothing wrong with that.
Ditto for '03 Minnesota. That was also a really good team that could run the shit out of the ball (both running backs had good NFL careers) so having to come from behind against them on the road was not an insult. We played tight games against them in each of the next two seasons in Ann Arbor. The rap on Glen Mason back then (and this ultimately got him fired, which set the program back for years) was that he came close to beating the good teams in the conference and ended up coming just short.
2019 Army was a hard watch but that's what often happens against the good service academy teams. What's annoying about that game is that Army went 5-8.
Here are some suggestion from me:
2025 Purdue - five-point home win over the worst team in the Big Ten with Bryce looking like shit.
2024 Arkansas State - ten-point home win over terrible opponent with Davis Warren throwing three picks and showing that we didn't have a Big Ten-average QB.
2021 Rutgers - it turned out to be a blip but the second half of that game was PAINFUL. Nearly blew the whole season to a horrible team.
2013 and 2014 Northwestern - just a couple hideous games.
2013 Akron and UConn - possibly the two worst consecutive wins in Michigan history.
2004 San Diego State - four-point home win over a bad MWC team.
2002 Utah - 10-7 win over a 5-6 Utah team with Bo in the box at one point griping about the fact that we could not run the ball for shit.
The entire month of October in 1998 - 12-9, 12-6, 15-10, and 21-10 wins over four teams that finished with losing records. Oh, and Tom Brady was out QB. Mike Debord, everyone!

I was thinking about the fact that the WMU win was probably the least satisfying win of my UM fandom (which goes back quite a long time). Some other candidatesā¦
