I still wonder what went through the minds of the heroes on Flught 93.

They obviously knew the score. Last call to loved ones and then doing what had to be done. Who knows how many lives they saved in quickly coming to terms that their own were forfeit and acting accordingly. The fucking balls on those guys.

Ive really tried to avoid the maudlin egoistic stuff today but goddamn, those guys deserve at least a mention once a year.

- Acknowledging the Flight 93 heroes forces us to consider what we would each do in their place. Too many of us would fall short, so it's easier to say "oh, and them" than to confront our own instincts and discover cowardice.
