yep. In theory an 8-team playoff seems right imo, in practice it needs to get to something around 24. My argument for 8 teams is it doesn't seem like anyone beyond about 8th ranked at the end of the year deserves a shot at a NC. But wanting great OOC games, it's gotta move to 16 or beyond (m)

Early in the season I focus on the fun OOC games to watch. Imagine yesterday without the Oregon/OKState, UM/OU, and OSU/Texas games. At that point I don't even know if I would have watched any of the games. So if an expanded playoff continues to allow those games to happen early in the season, sign me up.
